I'm obviously new to this board and pretty much new to computers--even though I have learned a heck of a lot in the past three years out of sheer necessity. I'm mainly here to solve a computer problem that noone else can seem to solve. So I'll be asking for help in one of your threads.

I've been hanging around here for a while, just observing. The Nerds are the most helpful guys when I have computer problems, altho I think I frustrate them with my incessant questions. These guys are truly the experts when it comes to challenging computer problems.
I hang out a couple of doors north of the Computer Nerds, a place called "Electro-Tek Service". If you need non-computer repairs of the electronic nature done, we can help. Please note, we specialize in industrial and commercial electronics, no home electronic devices.

Howdy from a San Antonio newbie. I had such a good experience with the local Nerds team that I'm venturing to get involved here. I'm a old guy with limited computer skills (word processing, e-mail), but with newly discovered wifi capability and an older Dell Latitude, model PPO3L, I want to grow.
